Dennis Rito
Dennis Rito (b. 1972) is a freelance photographer who lives and works in Manila, Philippines. Rito was strongly influenced by documentary photography and pursue personal work on contemporary issues. Like a pen to a writer, Rito view his photography as a means of creative expression – either to appreciate, question, suggest, or to propose.
Rito has won awards in the Px3 Prix de la Photographie 2008 Human Condition Photography Competition and at the World Health Organization Photo & Video Contest with the theme ‘Images of Health & Disability in 2007. Rito’s work has been included in ‘Mapping invisible Cities’ a travelling exhibition that toured around Asia and Europe.
